Author Interview with Author Kailash amesur

interviewed on Dec 14, 2020 India
Q. How would you describe yourself?
An entrepreneur turned Author turned speaker.
I had started my career as a production scheduler with a leading production house and therefore gained great insight into the art of story writing and intriguing plot creations. Later, I started my own venture as an entrepreneur and was immensely successful in it. After that, I decided to pen down my thoughts in a way that one cannot have enough of reading. The success of my second book inspired me to carry forward my writing with ‘Men on DV’.
Q. Tell us something about the books that you have written and the story behind them.
The first book was "After you leave your last job". This book is a for starters who want to leave their job and start business it gives a clear idea as what needs to be done and how, it also gives a gist of things which a entrepreneur may face while starting up a new venture.
My Second book was "The Stolen House". Truth is stranger than fiction.
A suspense thriller
About the book - Milind is no hero, he’s a maverick cop whose relentless pursuit of truth has earned him some dangerous enemies but when he is about to get promoted he comes across the most mysterious case of his life “The Stolen House.” An atypical small town in Goa is famous about 2 things clean beaches and criminal lawyer, Roy has fought more than 100 criminal cases and won all of them, winning has become his hobby now. A suspense conflict between a maverick cop and insolent lawyer… Every page of this novel will open the door for new suspense, get ready to read the best suspense novel of the year.
The Stolen House has been a huge success, Was awarded as Top 100 Inspiring Authors, Most impactful Author (Indian Awaz), Author of the year by NE8x Lifefest & recipient of Rashtryapati Shahu Maharaj Jivan Gaurav 2020 (Yuva Prabhav).

My upcoming Book "Men on DV(Domestic Violence) The other side of story", this book takes you to a journey he book takes you on a journey of hitherto untold truths behind the drama when such fake cases are filed, about how the Law which was made to safeguard all behaves like a jealous mistress. Women protective laws were made to safeguard the women from age-old oppression, but these laws were made when women were mere house dwellers confined to the four walls of their homes and unable to voice their plights, but as times changed the modern woman of today has achieved equal if not a superior status with the men in their lives, their abilities and responses have also developed multifold. But the law hasn’t imbibed this change in scenario where the hunted can also become the hunter, and this provides the perfect hotbed for a premeditated conspiracy to exact revenge on a spouse and also to render irrevocable damage to his survival and financial security, the author has given voice to the muted stories which never caught attention in the social dogma that domestic violence is all about women at the hands of men , there has to be a shift, Law has to be inclusive and it’s high time that we acknowledge the need to rethink and amend it accordingly so that it wouldn’t be misused, or the very Law that protects shall become the noose around the necks of the unassuming innocents.
Q. What place does writing hold in your life, how has been your writing journey so far?

In a book store a beautiful lady walked up to me and asked if I was the Author of the book “The Stolen House”. I was overwhelmed with that it was my first public appearance but it turned out that she wanted me to connect her to another Author for an Autograph. Well that incident has actually helped me to set a new goal of working on myself from just being a 'Known Author' to a 'Well known Author'.

I am a die hard fan of Sidney Sheldon & John Grisham and I have read all of their books. Apart from that, I have started reading Amish.

My upcoming book Men on DV (Domestic Violence ). The other side of story is in process of publishing, hopefully will be published in this month itself. Apart from that I am writing the series of The Stolen house.
Q. What challenges do you think are faced by writers, what's the worst thing about the book industry according to you?
Unlike earlier times when publishing was challenge with self publishing option it has become much easier for aspiring writers to showcase their work but at the same time there are lot of books published unnoticed, I think apart from social sites and goodreads we need to have a single platform to showcase our work. Currently the books which gets #bestseller tags are the only one which gets noticed so basically need to create opportunity for Authors to showcase their work on single platform so every Author gets equal exposure.
Q. Apart from writing, what goals do you want to achieve in life?
Well the very next goal is to be on TEDx talks.
Q. At QwertyThoughts.com, we are trying to bring authors and readers under the same roof, to connect, discuss and socialize over books. What's your take on this?
I am very thankful to Qwertythoughts for building a platform where both Readers and Authors can connect and discuss. All the other social site and book sites allows you to make announcements only. This could be the first ever interactive site found where noth could connect. Especially for Authors this site comes as a blessing which allows them to interact with readers.
Q. What message do you want to share with budding writers?
Keep writing.
